Copland’s moving Letter from Home, is a poignant expression of patriotism during World War II and flows with resilience and hope amid uncertainty. Britten's Four Sea Interludes, originally crafted as scene transitions in his opera Peter Grimes, captures the powerful sea and its influence on a coastal town; a beautiful yet menacing character.
